Dear parents / carers,

Research has shown that Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities are more likely to miss out on essential support for people affected by autism, according to the National Autistic Society (NAS).

TreeHouse School and Ambitious College are hoping to set up a parent / carer support group for our parent community that will launch in January 2022. The purpose of the group is to share experiences, explore barriers to support, and access help and advice. We are hoping that by setting up this group, our Black, Asian and minority ethnic community parents / carers can connect with each other and create a wider community of people with similar experiences, to share and learn from.
